Shawl, Socks and Such...
I finished a shawl/scarf. It's too big/wide to be just a scarf. A little too short, in length, to be a shawl, but it's made from some alpaca yarn I got at Stitches a couple of years ago. I'm pleased.
Got one sock done...working on the other. Don't really care much for the color, but they are turning out well.
Rob's socks were saved! Hurray! I was telling friends that when he was in the trauma unit, they cut up/off everything, but his handmade socks. Because he is homebound, he wears mostly the socks that I made for him. They are warm and soft and slightly oversized so he can slip them on easily.
He's doing better these days. Still in neck and leg brace, but feeling better. He probably won't be able drive for a couple of months.

Too many WIPs!
Went through my craft room this last weekend. Apparently, I have a lot more WIPs than I thought. I like to think of myself as an organized person and don't want too many WIPs -- though it is inevitable that a few will creep up. Well...I lined them all up with the yarn and pattern. I'm going to try to get through 2 or 3 of them. In a couple of weeks I'll be traveling to Virginia on vacation. I'll bring along some socks and maybe the EZ Pi shawl (one of the WIPs) that I'm working on.
